Bassem Philip brings over 20 years of regional experience in accounting and financial operations management to his role as Chief Financial Officer and Co-Founding Partner.

Bassem holds several internationally accredited certifications from the USA and UK, as well as leadership roles in various esteemed professional affiliations in the local and international financial community.

Endorsing his adaptable and balanced leadership, Bassem has held several senior and hands-on roles across various industries, such as auditing, hospitality, manufacturing, trading, construction, and engineering consultancy, leading diversified accounting operations for two decades. As a CFO, he is known for his strategic thinking and results-oriented approach, which have contributed to the competitive growth and profitability of organizations.

Bassem is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) USA, a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA), a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK, Bassem holds a bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting Major, and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accredited by the Egyptian Ministry of Finance.

Bassem actively contributes to the local and international accounting and finance community as a board member of the Institute of Management Accountants USA (IMA)'s Global Committee on Ethics, a position he has held for 2022-2024. Through this role, he demonstrates his dedication to promoting and executing the highest ethical business practices and standards within the industry. He also serves as the Vice President of Administration & Events for the IMA’s Abu Dhabi Chapter.
